Your Three Words | Big Fat Raise

That's right. After 3 years I've finally gotten a big old raise! That sounds kind of awful, but let me explain. I work in commercial real estate and as everyone should know, the economy ain't so great. I got hired in April of 2008 and we had company wide, 10% pay cuts in December. A lot of people leaving and changes happened recently which caused one of my favorite co-workers to be promoted to my boss! Life was good. Life was even better when he approached me yesterday telling me I would be getting a 13% raise. Basement renovation, accent chairs, new shoes here I come! (Sorry, babe.)
