Wooden Cabinet {Part 1}
I have been looking for dining room/kitchen storage ideas for some time now. I am still searching for a perfect buffet for our formal dining room but I did find this little gem on Craigs List about a month ago.
It also has sliding doors, but I am still debating whether to put them on or not. I like the open look of it, but I also have to think about our little angel who would never touch anything that she wasn't supposed to!
Not so bad, right? She only had one little ding in it, which I tried to fill in with some wood filler.
I was debating back and forth whether I was going to paint it black or white. Our kitchen is white cabinets with black granite counter tops. The eating area next to it has a black table and black curtains, so I thought black might be a little overkill. Step one: primer.
Doesn't it already look better?! I know what your thinking, no it does not. But it really does in person!
I am in the process of putting the final coat of semi gloss white paint on it, so I am hoping to have it done by this weekend!
Here is a sneak peak of the almost completed goodness.
It sure is turning into the perfect place to store my cake stands, platters and other little goodies. Can't beat a good Craigs List deal!
