Happy Christmas | 2011
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with their families! This Christmas was very different from others, and it was one of my favorites. Anth has a pretty big family, and his Grandma hosts everything. We love going over there, and we usually go for Christmas Eve dinner and then all day Christmas day. This year, being that I only have my mom on my side of the family, we decided to change things up a bit.
Christmas Eve we went to one of our favorite restaurants for dinner with my mom, Eggspectations. It was delicious and I ate every last bite...plus Quinn's chocolate pancakes. Oops.
Then we headed to my mom's house as usual and let Quinn rip open all of her presents there. So.Stinkin.Cute. Here are a few pictures of her before heading to mama's.
And there she goes!
Christmas morning was so nice. She of course let us sleep in unit almost 9 and then we were so excited to take her downstairs and let her see the tree! I am so sad I didn't take video of her going "ohhhh!!" as she ran towards the tree!
I was lucky enough to get the Mac Book I've always wanted :) Hubby loves to spoil!
My mom and I decided to go to a movie before Anth and I headed to his grandma's for the day. We went to an 11:00 showing of the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. There was no one there and it was an AMAZING movie. Seriously, not usually my type of movie, but it was really good. It made me want to read all of the books, so we'll see if I can actually accomplish that.
I ran home, got me and the baby ready and off we went to GG's.
There are 4 kids, including Quinn and it this was the only picture I got of the whole day lol. It was exhausting. A 7, 4, 3 and 1.5 year old is pretty funny to watch.
So that was our Christmas in a nutshell, tiring, but oh so wonderful. I can only imagine how exciting it will be next year!
I was very lucky to have off today. I was shocked when at 9:30 I woke up by myself and saw that Quinn was still asleep! She must have had a long weekend :)
I hope everyone had a happy, safe Christmas and I am very looking forward to what 2012 has to bring.

Great pictures! I love the one of her in the sunglasses. :) I bought a MacBook on Black Friday. Do you like it? I like mine so far, but it's been an adjustment from always using PCs!
ReplyDeleteYah for the Macbook. You will love it. I got one 3 weeks ago too:) I love your pictures. So cute!!!
ReplyDeleteI LOOOOOVE it! It has changed my life in the last 3 days I have owned it lol. I had a Mac desktop but it was about 6 years old. Insane how much better a computer can get!
