Dear Quinn: She's a Lady

Quinn Taylor.

Words cannot even begin to explain how much I adore you. These days, you have me laughing hysterically and wanting to kiss you all day every day. You are at SUCH a fun age. I know I say that all the time, but I can't help it if I think you are the most amazing baby at every stage.

You are one feisty little mama. It's safe to say that I don't worry about you when you get older. And boy do you have daddy and me wrapped around your little nugget finger. The other day we were enjoying a lovely anniversary dinner at Pizza Hut after your gymnastics class when you said "I'm sad." And then proceeded with "I miss mommy and daddy."

I don't think I could have picked you up any faster and hugged you to death. I know you were just playing because you love saying your little stuffed animals are sad so you can make them all better, but Oh.My.Goodness was that heart melting. Daddy and I talked about quitting our jobs and moving into a tent in the woods if it meant getting to spend every second of every day with you.

I never in a million years thought I would want to be a stay at home mom, but now it's something that I think about all the time. As much as I cannot wait to meet your little sister, I am SO looking forward to maternity leave so I can spend all of that time with you too. We are working on getting mama on a 3 day a week work schedule.

And because you never fail to just make me fall in love with again every single day.
