Current Loves | February

It's been a while since I've put up a Current Loves post….mostly because I am lazy and I feel like this winter has gone on for about 6 straight years and all I want to do is sleep and cuddle. And eat.

But anyway.

These are a few of my favorites from these past couple of months! And I promise to get on a more scheduled posting schedule once I get over this horrendous winter laziness.

1. Gelous Nail Gel - I saw this floating around Pinterest and I obviously had to try it. I refuse to pay the extra money every time I get a manicure for the gel version because I am cheap and also I tried it once and it lasted a whopping 3 days. Now that is a record because I am known for chipping my nail polish one hour after application. No joke. So I did all the steps and it was a long and annoying process but it lasted almost an entire week!! I might try using a little less next time but I say this is worth the whole $6.00 it cost me from Amazon.

2. Fresh Farmacy LUSH Cleanser - My bestie Colleen told me I had to run to Lush and try their soap because it was amazing so I happily went to the mall the following week and went nuts. I was a bit overwhelmed when I walked in but the people there were so nice and I ended up taking home a few samples! Which I have been using for over a week and there is still plenty left! This was my favorite face wash. It literally leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean.

3. LUSH Sea Salt Spray - Beach hair is one thing in life I have yet to master. As my hair is somewhere between wavy and crinkly. And balding. (Thanks, kids.) So since this had some gel in it, I thought it would be a good alternative to spray on my hair instead of hair spray. And I LOVE it. It smells delicious, too!

4. MAC Eye Brow Pencil - This has been a current favorite of mine for…..at least 6 years. I am not kidding. I don't know why I never thought to include it, but if you are looking for a good eye bow pencil…give it a try. It's the only one I use and I absolutely adore it. Never leave the house without mascara and eyebrows!

5. Lululemon Bangbuster Headband - Ok. So I bought this way back when I got bangs like 2 years ago and I honestly was not that into working out at the time so it never got used. This time I stupidly cut bangs (WHY DO I REGRET IT EVERYTIME!?) in the beginning of my start into CrossFit and I whipped it back out and have never looked back. And what once started as a simply wear it to only work out has quickly become a "Nice headband (in sarcasm font)." from my husband as he stares at me while we are out to dinner. 

Oops. But seriously. I have a strange head that fits no headband and I live in these. And I mean LIVE IN THEM.

Is anyone else in a winter rut like me?! I am ready for some damn sunshine already.
