Hazel Faith | Month Three
Our little lady is three months old today! How you ask? I know. I just gave birth to her.
I had an "oh my gosh" moment of "Holy crap man, I'm driving three kids around in my minivan" moment the other day. I couldn't believe it. It was strange.
I also realized we are getting some sleep around these parts! I am starting to feel almost normal and rested! Girlfriend is sleeping great. She goes down anytime between 7:00 and 8:00 and will sleep until 2:00/3:00 and then is up for the day between 7:00 and 8:00.
She is delicious. As delicious as delicious can be. I mean it. I am probably borderline inappropriate with how much time I spend kissing and loving on her.
She has her four month appointment next month and I can't wait to see how much she's grown! She actually has seemed to slow down in her eating. She will happily go 3-4 hours in between feedings and that makes for a happy mama. And a happy Harper since she has to find something to do while I feed the baby. I am so thankful for her and Quinn. They could not be more in love with their baby sister. They both have adjusted amazingly well. I'm secretly still waiting for Harper to start hating her. Is that awful?!
Slow down little sister. Anth and I were ooohing and ahhhhing over her the other day and I said "Don't you think it would be devastating when your last baby starts to get older? Good thing we're having one more." And he actually didn't disagree with me this time :)
Who knows what he future holds for us. Maybe we'll have another, maybe we won't. For now, I'm soaking up this little one like she's the very last baby there ever was.
